Open monuments, museums, sites. Major roads of culture: an asset for Europe. Saturday 29 and Sunday, September 30, 2007 during the "European Heritage Days" free entry among more than 1,000 museums, galleries, archaeological sites, monuments, libraries and state archives . Across Europe opens its doors free of monuments and sites, some of which are normally closed to the public, and organize cultural events, allowing citizens to know and enjoy their heritage and become an active part in protecting and enhancing it for the present and future generations.
